Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Web Developer Intern to design a user-friendly and responsive website for one of our clients in the forestry industry. You will be responsible for developing the website’s user interface and ensuring it functions optimally across both desktop and mobile devices. Even if you do not meet all the requirements, that’s okay! You will be guided through digital courses, and you can apply what you learn directly to this project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design an intuitive and visually appealing user interface for a website for a client in the forestry industry.

  • Develop and implement a responsive website that works seamlessly across different devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).

  • Collaborate with the team and the client to ensure the website meets their needs and vision.

  • Optimize the website for speed and performance.

  • Test and troubleshoot the website to ensure functionality and user-friendliness.

  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss progress and receive guidance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree (or currently studying) in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication skills in English. Good Norwegian writing language skills.

  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus but not required.

  • Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar is a plus.

  • A good understanding of responsive design and user interfaces is desirable.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

  • A passion for learning and developing your skills.

  • Priority will be given to those who are registered as job seekers with NAV.

Location & Hours:

  • This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in Norway.

  • A weekly in-person meeting is required.

  • Flexible working hours, approximately 15 hours per week.
